Access Statement for Pier View self-catering luxury apartments

Pier View is situated in the perfect position for the Pier, high street and the entertainment that Southend has to offer.
 The property is located in the centre of Southend on Royal Terrace, next to the high street. Pier View overlooks the Pier & Seafront and is on a one way street. Located in the conservation area the four self-catering apartments make up the Georgian property. There is one ground floor apartment named Lady Hamilton. The property is a Georgian build full of history and quirky features.
Due to the nature of the property unfortunately there is no lift and the communal lounge is located on the first floor. A total of 19 short stairs from the entrance hallway.

Pre-Arrival
  • Southend Central is the nearest station which links London to Southend (0.3 miles) (c2c) Fenchurch street. Taxi’s operate from outside the station but due to the one way system it may be a 10 minute cab journey.
  • Southend Victoria is a 10 minute walk and links London to Southend (Liverpool street Line)
  • Taxi service will be available outside the station.
  • Southend Central bus station is just (0.2 miles) from the property
  • The streets in the area surrounding the property are all paved
  • Food shopping and other essentials can be found in the high street which is located next to Pier View
  • Shopping can also be delivered to the apartments if needed.
Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking
  • The Proprietor will organise to meet the guests at the property for the collection of the keys
  • Keys can be taken out to the guest in their car on request
  • A familiarisation tour will be made on arrival of the chosen apartment and public areas
  • Parking is available close to the property at a supplement. There are 2 car parks and both are subject to availability on booking
  • There is bay street parking in Royal Terrace at a cost
  • Blue Badge parking is available in the bays in Royal Terrace
  • There is a paved surface from the car park to the property entrance. The area is well lit
